Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 Woodland Hills California. The one and only one daughter of Richard McCormick. Her father was a teacher as her mother stayed at her home. Michael, Dennis and Kevin are her three older brothers. McCormick always enjoyed singing, dancing and putting on puppet shows. The fairy tale began for McCormick at the age of six old and won her first prize in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley Contest. Then she received a phone call from Pat Domigan, a talent agent at the Jack Wormser Agency. He requested that she consider to join the show business. McCormick's first big job was in 1964 when she appeared in an advertisement for Mattel's newly released doll "Baby Pattaburp". The company also ran a commercial in 1964 to promote the "Chatty-Cathy" doll. The following year, she was chosen to play the main character in the show Wind It Up and It Breaks in the Playhouse at La Jolla Playhouse. McCormick was among of over 1,200 auditioning children, won the role of the youngest daughter on The Brady Bunch. The show starred Florence Henderson, Robert Reed as well as a newlywed couple. The five-year run of The Brady Bunch proved to be a huge great success. McCormick admitted in her story of her life: Surviving Marcia Brady, and Finding My True Voice (published 2008) that it was during her fifth-season of the TV show that she nearly lost her the love of her life. The actress was 16 years old, while the actor was young, while the actor was 19. This was never the ideal moment for them.
